Red clover (Trifolium pratense) is a three-leaved meadow plant, a forage crop and a favorite of honeybees, with a long history as a blood-cleansing and nourishing herb in folk traditions. It contains plant isoflavones and has traditionally been used to support women through menopause, including hot flashes. It is also a classic herb for skin and heart health in tonic blends.

Avoid with blood-thinning medications and during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
