Lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris) takes its name from the scalloped leaves said to resemble the cloak of the Divine Mother. A gentle astringent and tonic for the womb, it has long been used in European women's herbalism to support a healthy menstrual cycle and ease occasional menstrual discomfort.
