Lavender is an Old World ornamental plant in the mint family that is also commercially cultivated for its highly fragrant blossoms. This variety, commonly called lavandin, is a cross between Lavandula angustifolia, or English lavender and L. latifolia, also known as spike lavender and Portuguese lavender.
Extra grey lavender flowers have a light blue to grey color; However, it has a comparable scent profile and is suitable for use in crafts, massage work, aromatherapy and perfumery despite color variation.
